Al-Alim: A Production and A Visitor Center On Herbs in Israel
In 1998, SupHerbs Medicinal Plants - an organic herb growing company from Zippori, Israel, added a new area of activity, and formed Al Alim - Medicinal Herb Center. The center offers, in addition to SupHerbs own farm products, a wide variety of imported herbs and botanical extracts from around the world.
Al Alim's products - medicinal herbs as well as culinary herbs. are distributed to commercial and industrial companies, pharmacies and health-food stores, clinics and herbalists in Israel.
Today, Al Alim is one of the major distributors of raw herbs, botanical extracts, vitamins, amino acids and minerals, olive oil and other oils for the nutritional supplement sector in Israel. Other sectors served by Al Alim are: food industry and cosmetics.

Among the Center's additional activities are organization of seminars and workshops and distributing literature on the world of medicinal plants. Students of complementary medicine from various schools, as well as experienced herbalists, visit the Al Alim Center, participate in seminars and workshops. and get an opportunity to become familiar with current issues of the medicinal herb industry.
